How to Fix NV-W Error in SPD Research Tool
- Download and extract the SPD Research Tool on your Windows computer.
- Next, Download and install the latest Spreadtrum USB Drivers.
- Then, Download Stock firmware (.pac file) for your device.
- Run the SPD Research Download tool.
- After that, click on Load Packet button & Select the correct
.pacfirmware for your phone.
- Wait until the PAC file has completely loaded.
- Now the tool will read the firmware package and display the partitions.

- After that, click the Settings icon.
- Next, deselect NV-W (uncheck the NV-W partition).
- Go to Backup tab, and also deselect NV-W from there.
- Done, Now click Start to start Flashing.
- Power off and put the phone into the Download Mode keys by pressing: Vol Up + Vol Down.
- The device will be detected & start flashing.
- Wait till finish.
- Wait until the Research Tool displays a Success message.
- After the flashing process completed, disconnect the device and power it on.
